If you had the chance to have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be?
Ok, I have two. Patty Griffin is my all-time favorite song-writer and singer. I’m not sure if I would say anything; I might just sit there and soak up the awesomeness. And the other is Jay Joyce, one of the many talented producers here in Nashville. The man is just a genius and I would love to pick his brain.
If you were given $1 million that you had to spend in one week, how would you spend it?
I would pay off my car and my house, pay for my sister’s wedding, pay off my family’s houses and vehicles, get rid of their credit cards, buy a Gibson Les Paul for me, a Gibson SG for Aaron (one of the good ones), and donate the rest… OK, I might tuck a little away for savings too, but just a little…
What song/artist in your music collection is a guilty pleasure?
Hanson. Yeah, I said it, Hanson. Not the older stuff, the new stuff (and yes, there IS new stuff for those of you who don’t know). They are just one of those bands you don’t admit to liking, but secretly… you know you do. Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake fall under the same umbrella. My favorite band out there right now, however, is Satellite, an indie band out of LA. They are amazing! Go check them out!

Keira Knightley’s Pride and Prejudice, beautiful music score! And Rushmore, and Along Came Polly – great soundtracks.
Favorite style of music?
That’s impossible. If I had to pick, I’d say Eclectic/Pop. I really don’t know how to answer that. I love everything from Classic Rock to Heavy Metal, Techno to Soul, Indie Rock to Commercial Pop, Reggae, and everything in between. I can’t pick one. But my favorite band in the world is Nada Surf, and they’re an Indie Rock band, so I guess I could go with that. Although right this moment I have currently become re-obsessed with Prince’s Purple Rain album. Come back, Nikki, come back!! And I couldn’t live without Bob Marley.
What’s your dream vacation spot?
Currently the Maldives because it’s supposed to have some of the best diving in the world. Next up, Tahiti. Basically, anywhere I can go scuba diving. But I’d also like to see the pyramids and commune with the aliens who built it.
